Christine Ladd Obituary
Christine Frances Leister Ladd, 51, passed away on November 26, 2015 at her home in Cloudcroft surrounded by her family. She was born on December 16, 1963 in Bad Cannstatt, Germany to Franklyn Clagett and Renate Mueller Leister.
Christine had a Master's Cum laude degree from the University of Georgia Medical School and had a Bachelor's degree in International Studies from the University of Miami of Ohio. She also served two years with the Peace Corps in Niger.
She worked as a Physician's Assistant at PMS in Alamogordo.
Survivors include her husband, Robert B. Ladd, Jr., who she married on October 15, 2010 of Cloudcroft; her son, Jai Owen Qureshi; her father and mother, Franklyn Clagett and Renate Leister of Charleston, SC; grandson, Keiran Matthew Reilly; and brother, Bruce Michael Leister and his wife Terry Shulman Leister of Chicago, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Maya Leister.
Christine's husband and family want to extend their heartfelt thanks to all those who supported her during her illness and to all those who organized the benefit in her behalf.
Direct Cremation will take place under the care of PCS Direct Cremation Services.

Christine and I worked together for three years. She was the sweetest individual I had the pleasure of working with. She was so patient, kind, and loving to all of the patients she saw. Throughout my working career she taught me so much and gave me the greatest advice. She will be greatly missed and my thoughts and prayers go to her son and husband. I am SO sorry for your loss, she will be GREATLY missed. She influenced my life and my career and pushed me to be the best I could be. She influenced the lives of many.
