My Dear Edna,
There is obviously no good time or way for someone whom you adore to die. My brother and I shared a special bond and words cannot express the depth of how much I miss hearing his voice. Though my heart is aching, I am comforted knowing that Junior is in the care of the Good Lord above. I’d truly like to thank you for being such a loving and devoted wife to my brother. I will always remember the loving man he was, that is what gets me through. And though I was physically unable to make the trip to Alamogordo, at the very least, I want you to know that I am here for you and that I do care.

Love Always,
Your Sister-in-Law,
Pearl Brown

Dear Mrs Carr,
My family offer our condolences to you and family members in your hour of need. I had the pleasure of working for Clint at Eglin AFB, Fl and found him to be a true leader and champion of fire protection, especially fire prevention. And even after his retirement from Civil Service, we knew the tall gentleman with the big smile would be around for fire prevention week goodies for you. He will be sorely missed. Our prayers are with you.
