Daniel Daugherty Obituary
In memory of Daniel D. Daugherty, 69, who went to be with the Lord on August 13, 2016. He was born in Silver City, N.M., on March 14, 1947, to Benny Jason Daugherty and Faye (Ringwood) Daugherty.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Benny Jr. Daugherty; sister, Debbie Roberts; wife, Joyce Elaine Daugherty; daughter, Stacey R. Daugherty; granddaughter, Zoe Eunson; and great granddaughter, Scarlett Baczik.
He is survived by brother, Walter (Joe) Daugherty; sister, Linda; children, Randy Daugherty and wife Debbie, Tony Daugherty, Amanda Daugherty, Melissa Daugherty and Tom; grandchildren, Jerry Baczik, Jimmy H. Stanfill Ill, Dillion Daugherty, Tyler Daugherty, Taylor Frazier, Steven Frazier, Ashe Shinn, Lilie Eunson, Maggie Eunson, A.J. LaRue, Joie LaRue, and Makenzie Daugherty. Dan will be greatly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
Dan was a wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend to all.
A Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, August 18, 2016, at Monte Vista Cemetery in Alamogordo with Chuck Moon officiating.
The Daugherty family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.

Danny was a long time friend. We grew up he on one street I on the next one street East. Bought gas from him in the 70's every other day at the Piggy Bank station and it is gone now, too. You will be missed at NAPA too.
