Tiffany Allen Obituary

Tiffany Renee Allen passed away Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010. She was born to Lyn and Joel Michael Allen on Nov. 11, 1979, in Alamogordo.
She is survived by her sons Kody Allen, Cevin and Jaden Joel Torres, and daughters Azrael and Skyla Torres, all of Tularosa; her mother, Lyn Allen, of Alamogordo; and brothers Stephen Allen, of Alamogordo, and Shane Allen and fiancee, Lisa Crawford, of Mount Vernon, Ill. She is also survived by her aunts Judy Allen Ferguson and husband, Otis, of Tularosa; Patty Allen and fiance, Tony Thompson, of Alamogordo; Joann Tafoya, of Alamogordo; and Carol Gough, of Roswell, and uncles John Allen and wife, Jenny, of Tularosa; Neil Dunning and wife, Susie, of Las Cruces; and Ron Cook and wife, Kay, of Houston.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joel Michael Allen; her grandparents Gladys Carroll, Bonnie Allen and Betty Jo Dunning; and her great-grandparents Opal and John Rilinger.
Tiffany's arrival came shortly after that of her twin brother Stephan. Like many twins, she and her brother Stephan shared a special bond and were never far apart for long. Tiffany grew up in Alamogordo and attended Alamogordo High School. She had a vibrant personality and was well liked by all who knew her. She had the look of an "Allen Girl" and the feisty character that usually accompanies the name. She was a loving mother whose gracious spirit still shines brightly through the lives of her precious children.
The human mind cannot begin to comprehend why Tiffany was taken away from us. We trust that our Lord, in his infinite wisdom, has a greater purpose for our beautiful girl and that it will be revealed to us in his time. We believe Tiffany is in a better place and among those who love her, and are certain she was welcomed by her father, who will hold his little girl for the first time.
We look forward to the beneficial effects of time to heal our wounds and broken hearts. Tiffany's absence will always bring tears to our eyes, but the fond memories we hold of her will always bring a smile to our hearts.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, 2010, at Hamilton-O'Dell Chapel in Alamogordo. Inurnment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Tularosa.
The family will greet friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, at Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home.
The Allen family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home to direct the arrangements. Cremation will take place locally at PCS.

A note of condolence for Lyn,
I knew you and Tiffany only briefly some years ago when we discussed the Bible together at her home on Vermont. I could see she was a caring mother for her beautiful children. My heartfelt sympathy for you. I pray that you and your family will find comfort in the words of John 5:29 about the resurrection hope and Rev 21:3,4 with the promise of a better future.

Oh Tiffany! I already miss your adorable giggle and to know I will never hear it again is my own selfish grief. I am so thankful I got to become a part of your life... no matter how short a year and a half or so seems now. I always had a soft spot for you which, as you know, doesn't happen often for me.
You never asked me for anything but my ear to listen and my heart to understand... so wonderful. I hope I touched your life as much as you touched mine. I'll never forget you chick and where ever you are ( I know you are too crazy not to be some where lol) I hope you are at peace.

To Tiffany's family... I am so sorry for this loss and I hope you can find peace in this tragedy... wish I knew what else to say...
