Sadye Bradshaw Obituary
She was preceded in death by her parents Joe Lawson Whitley and Mildred Margaret Robison Whitley, sister, Peggy Ann Banks, her beloved husband of 57 years, Jack Bradshaw and her son-in-law, John Michael (Mike) Clark.
Sadye graduated from Albany High School in 1952. After graduation she worked for Flint River Cotton Mill, Dougherty County School System as the Assistant Lunchroom Manager at Northside Elementary School. She finished her career as the Assistant Cafeteria Manager at Deerfield Windsor School.
During her marriage she and Jack were avid members of the Rafter Rockers Square Dancing Club. They
traveled with their friends far and wide to attend dances.
When their children were young, they enjoyed numerous family camping trips to Pine Mountain, GA, Fernandina Beach, FLA, various state parks, and the Grand Canyon.
She was a devoted member of Palmyra Road Methodist Church.
Mrs. Bradshaw is survived by her children: Bonita (Bonnie) Bradshaw Clark, William (Bill) Lawson Bradshaw (Shay) and, Margaret Luann Bradshaw Bloodworth (Bob), her six grandchildren, Heather Lynn Spence (Mike), Brian Lawson Bradshaw (Kari), Kelley Elizabeth Savoca (Joe), Franklin Whitley Bradshaw (Joey), Emily Brooke Bradshaw and William Thomas Bloodworth and her six great-grandchildren, Jocelynn Marie Spence (Wes), Brooklynn Kennedy Spence, William Lawson Bradshaw II, Beau Lowery Bradshaw, Katherine Rae Bradshaw and William Shepard Savoca.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to mom's caregiver, Ms. Annie Eady.
Family visitation will be held at Kimbrell Stern Funeral Home from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. Her service will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 11 AM at Palmyra Road United Methodist Church, Pastor Mike Myers officiating, with interment immediately following at Crown Hill Cemetery.
