Danny Daugherty Obituary
Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 26, 2018, at Bolton Street Baptist Church, 2500 Bolton St., in Amarillo with Tommy Fulgham officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Dodson Cemetery near Wellington. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Danny was born February 7, 1950, in Wellington to Raymond Lester "R.L." and Ruby Nell Daugherty. He graduated from Caprock High School in 1968. He worked for the railroad for more than 36 years. He was a member of the High Plains Thunderbird Club and the Corvette Club.
Survivors include his wife, Dinah Daugherty, of Amarillo; two daughters, Shannon Cunningham and husband Benjamin of Sandpoint, Idaho and Keisha McBroom and husband Dusty, of Amarillo; two stepsons, Byron Burnett, of Fort Collins and Philip Burnett, of Amarillo; a brother, Raymond Daugherty, of Mesquite; and ten grandchildren, Merrell, Elliott, Parkour, Everett, Breeah, Saige, Grady, Zoey, Kaye-Breeze and Serenity.

I just heard about Danny passing earlier today...have not seen him in years, buth think of him often...I can still hear his laugh...He was a great friend, he will be missed, his memory will live on....
