As one of Bobbi's friends for many years, I had the great pleasure of meeting Effie and spending time with her. I know that she was an inspriation and source of love for her family who will greatly miss her. The thoughts and prayers of our family are with Bobbi and all of her family in this time of loss.

We left Ames in 1993 but remember Effie from church. She was a great resource person for me when I worked with children in Church School. I still have her recipe for "Carrot Bars" signed and dated 1990! She was a neat lady!

Anderson family,

I was so saddened to read of the death of Effie. She was one great
lady. My deceased husband, Tom Berhow was principal of the schools
in which Effie was a very devoted
teacher. The staff enjoyed many
fun times in your parents home . I can
still see your Dad grilling the chicken
on the grill in their charming family
room. What great hosts.
My thoughts and prayers go out to
each of you. She was so proud of
you, her children , and rightly so.

With sympathy,
Dorothy Berhow
