Sandra Easterday Obituary
Sandra Rose Easterday, 65, of Albia, Iowa, passed away on April 8, 2021, surrounded by her family. Sam was born on March 12, 1956, in Estherville, Iowa, daughter of Edward and Evelyn (Hoppe) Godfredson. She graduated from Algona High School. Sam was united in marriage to Neil Easterday on February 6, 1982, in Algona, Ia. Neil and Sam lived in Jewell, Ia and raised their family for seventeen years. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, gardening, walking her dog, Meeko, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by their children; April (Mike) Mortenson, Bill (Octavia) Easterday, Justin (Heidi Nye) Easterday, Bobbi (Ben) Sage and Brandi (Brad) Martin; seven grandchildren, Evelyn Easterday, Cooper and Ayla Martin, Landon, Ethan, Cohen and Parker Jo Sage. Other survivors include siblings: Gene (Deb) Godfredson, and Barb (Tom) Gray. Sam was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Evelyn, husband Neil, mother and father-in-law, Thomas and Emma, infant sister, Cynthia, brother-in-law, Tommy, sister-in-law, Myba, and sister-in-law, Della. The family is having a private viewing and graveside service on Monday afternoon in Jewell.

So sorry to hear of Sam's passing. I've worked with Sam for about 7 or 8 years and she was always great and fun to work with. My condolences for many friends and family.
