Alberta Frances Kronlage

Alberta, at the age of 94, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. She was a native of Houston, Texas and a resident of Albany, Louisiana. Alberta was a dedicated member of St. Margaret Catholic Church and the Ladies Auxiliary. Her devotion and dedication to her family was unfathomable. Alberta loved spending every moment she possibly could with her family and taking care of them. She was an extraordinary wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Alberta is survived by her daughters, Peggy Beard and husband Bruce and Patti Roubique and husband Vince; sons, Michael Kronlage and wife Mary Lou and Bobby Kronlage; 15 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren. Alberta is preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 wonderful years, Francis Kronlage; parents, Albert and Emma Stephens; sisters, Emmy Lou Austin and Alice Reed Bruce; granddaughter, Jenny Lou Kronlage; and daughter-in-law, Carol Cristina Kronlage. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation from the Parish Hall of St. Margaret Catholic Church, on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Margaret Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Margaret Catholic Church Cemetery.
