Chyrl Wood Obituary
Chyrl Hano Wood was born October 25, 1958, in Hammond, LA to the late Ray Roy Hano, Sr. and Evelyn Ann Majesty Hano. She passed away in Hammond October 2, 2025, at the age of 66. Chyrl is survived by her children, Crystal Burge, Joseph Harvey, James Wood, Jr, Melissa Lane, and Cynthia Hammond; 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Allen Ray Wood; life partner, Joseph Little, and brothers, Buster Hano, Timmy Hano, Ray Hano, Jr. Eddie Hano, and Mike Rau. It was her request to be cremated. As such, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
