David Sibley Obituary

David Wayne Sibley passed away on October 27, 2025, at the age of 59. As a child he loved to camp out with his brothers and friends. David was an avid car enthusiast and loved to tinker with the engines. He was incredibly protective of his family and had a generous and good heart. His family meant everything to David. David is already dearly missed and loved by everyone that had the privilege to know and love him. David is survived by his parents, William and Jeanne Hanna; sisters, Sheila Hanna and Ella Beall; brother, Valmond J. Sibley Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews. David is preceded by his father, Valmond J. Sibley; and brother, Wade Hanna Jr. David's family would like to give a special thanks to the Hospice of Baton Rouge and the nurses that gave such loving care to him. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation from the Chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, 1190 Hwy 51 North Ponchatoula, LA. on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. visitation will resume Friday, October 31, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. until the start of the Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Sandhill Cemetery.
