Jerri Faye Gregoire

Jerri, age 70, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. She was a native of Georgia and a longtime resident of Independence, Louisiana. Jerri was a tremendously gifted artist. Musical instruments such as the piano, she could play by ear; tremendous. Jerri was also gifted playing the Clarinet. Her artist abilities helped her become a licensed Florist in the state of LA. Jerri painted numerous beautiful portraits. She could crochet and knit beautifully. Jerri was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who is already dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Jerri is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Ann Foster Petersen (Jamie); grandchildren, Chase Petersen and Barbie Petersen (Tyran Sr.), and was 'Noney' to Charles 'Charlie' Petersen whom she loved more than dirt; great-grandchildren, Jude Petersen, Alivea Petersen, and Brielle and Tyran Smith Jr.; brother, Charles T. 'Tommy' Foster Jr. (Lori); along with numerous nieces and nephews. Jerri is preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, David Randall 'Randy' Gregoire; parents. Charles Thomas Foster, Sr. and Colleen Purvis Foster. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation from the Chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, 12012 Hwy 190 West Hammond, LA. on Sunday, August 3, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until the start of the Funeral Service at 4:00 p.m. Services will be officiated by Jerry Morgan Jr. Speakers will include Tamra Perise and Charlie Petersen.
