Kathleen Vidrine Obituary

Kathleen, age 88 went to her heavenly home on Thursday, October 16, 2025. She was a native of Oakdale, and a longtime resident of Independence, LA. Kathleen was a gifted caregiver who cared for elderly suffering with Alzheimer's. Her family always came first. Kathleen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who is already dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Kathleen is survived by her grandchildren, Jodi King, Destiny Maurer (Brandyn), Brittany Drury, Ashley Trott and Chad King; great-grandchildren, Cloee Vidrine, Brileigh, Braelyn, Bransyn Maurer; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Kathleen is preceded in death by her loving husband, Amos L. Vidrine; parents, Luther Lambright and Louise Sellers Lambright; daughters, Shirley Vidrine, Kathy King Pittman; sons, Bobby Lynn Vidrine, and Michael Wayne Vidrine; brothers, L.C. Lambright, Geno Lambright; sister, Gladys Giles Johnson, Beatrice West, Gertrude Lambright; and grandson, Cody Michael Vidrine. PONCHATOULA, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Graveside Service in Sandhill Cemetery, 40199 Sandhill Cemetery Rd, Ponchatoula, LA on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 starting at 3:00 p.m.
