Kathy King Pittman

Kathy, age 66, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025. She was a resident of Independence, LA. Kathy was an extremely hard worker and dedicated many years to Lard Oil Company. She enjoyed working and made countless friends that became family at her job. Kathy truly adored her family, especially her two grandbabies. She was a strong independent woman who had a kind heart. Kathy was a loving wife, caring mother, and the best grandmother you could ask for. She will be deeply missed. She is survived by her husband, Donald Pittman; son, Randy "Chad" King (Heather); daughter, Jodi King; mother, Kathleen Vidrine; granddaughters, Chelsea Clasen, Cloee Vidrine; nieces, Destiny Maurer (Brandyn), Brileigh Maurer, Braelyn Maurer, and nephew, Bransyn Maurer. Kathy is preceded in death by her father, Amos Vidrine; brothers, Michael Vidirine and Bobby Vidrine; sister, Shirley Vidrine; and nephew, Cody Vidrine. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home at 12012 Hwy 190 W Hammond, LA 70401 on Saturday, 30, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Sandhill Cemetery.
