Kristal Bondi Obituary
KRISTAL DIANE BONDI, AGE 45 And a resident of Franklinton passed away early Saturday morning August 16, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in New Orleans on July 30, 1980 and grew up in the Buras Community. Following the destruction of Hurricane Katrina, Kristal moved with family to north Alabama for 3 years before returning to Louisiana. She and her family have lived in Washington Parish since 2009. Kristal attended nursing school and worked as an EMT with Northshore EMS for several years. She loved decorating for Halloween each year and enjoyed going to the Renaissance Fair. She loved her family above all else and came to realize during her lengthy health struggles that her purpose in life was her children and grandchildren. Kristal enjoyed spending time with her young grandsons and all the little children in her family, as she loved playing around with all the "babies". Making memories for her daughters and the young children was always important to her. She truly cared about the needs of others above her own, even the little things like buying the favorite food and drinks of anyone coming to visit. Just a small gesture, but important to her in showing love to others. During her cancer battle, Kristal was actively involved in Unite Empowering Events, a meaningful online community that hosts gatherings and fun events, like a fashion show in New Orleans, for cancer survivors and others. She was always a loving wife, mother and grandmother that will be forever missed by her family, friends and all that knew her.
