Leslie Sibley Obituary

Kemp, age 59, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025. He was a resident of Walker, LA and a member of Bethany Church. Kemp was known for his warmth, humor, and the deep love he had for his family and friends. A gifted singer and musician, he brought joy to many through his voice, piano, and guitar. Whether on stage or at home, his music reflected his generous heart and creative spirit. Kemp had a quick wit, a kind soul, and a way of making everyone feel welcome. He was a wonderful father and an even greater Paw Paw, always ready with a smile or a helping hand. Kemp was the kind of man who made the world better just by being in it. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of 6 years, Christy Sibley; daughter, Jolie Sibley; son, Garrison Sibley (Jayci); step-daughters, Alyssa Rollins (Lathen Bruno), Gabrielle Rollins, Elizabeth Inman; sisters, Delisa Sibley, Jeri Kravat (Rick); brothers, Jesse Sibley (Tammy), Colee Sibley (Stacy); grandchildren, Scarlett Martin, Noah Sibley, Harlan Sibley, Bentley Rollins, Brady Bolfa; mother of his children, Karyn Sibley; and his fur-baby, Roscoe. Kemp was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley and Leslie Sibley Sr. A cremation was held and services will be held by the family at a later date.

Yesterday

So sorry, Christy. I do remember that Kemp, like Uncle Les and Aunt Shirley, had much musical talent as well as the rest of his siblings.
