Patricia Ann Brady

Patricia Ann Brady passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 in Covington, LA. She was 82. Pat was preceded in death by her husband, John Joseph Brady, her granddaughter, HollyAnn Michelle Brady and her parents, Harry J. Acosta and Shirley Fast Acosta. She is survived by her sons, Greg Michael Brady (Susan) and Paul R. Brady (Karen); her grandchildren, Scott Michael Brady, Brooke E. Brady and Jack M. Brady and is also survived by her great-granddaughter, Valerie Brady-Newton. Pat was a native of New Orleans, LA and graduate of Alcee Fortier High School. She lived in Metairie for several years and was very active in the St Mary Magdalen church and Mother's Club. For the past 30 years, Pat lived on the Northshore in both Abita Springs and most recently Mandeville. She enjoyed crocheting, needlepointing and playing cards with her lady groups. She cherished her dogs and was a New Orleans Saints fan. Relatives and friends of the family are invited for visitation at 9:00 AM followed by Mass at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at E J Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, LA. Interment will follow in Abita Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations to be made to St Francis Animal Sanctuary and Rescue or https://www.sfas.org E.J.
