Renoldo Marquise "Mark" Jones

"The Lord is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalms 34:18 Renoldo Marquise Jones was born August 18, 1986 in Bogalusa, LA. He was the son of Lizzie Robinson and Ronald Crosby. He departed this life on September 19, 2025 at the age of 39 at North Oaks Hospital in Hammond, LA. Renoldo "Mark" was a life long resident of Franklinton, LA. He was the only child of Lizzie and the 1st born of Ronald to his family and friends. He was known as "Mark", he was a very loving and caring person to everyone he met. He had a beautiful smile and personality to match and he loved children. Mark worked at Sonic Drive In in Franklinton as a short order cook, the crew there became his second family. He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, Hilda Faye Jones, M.C. Dillon, Flora Lee Crosby and James Curtis Simmons; a stepfather, Alvin L. Tate; two aunts, Rachel Ann Jones and Keisha Thomas. He leaves to cherish his memories one daughter, Re'niya A. Jones; two special children he loved as his own, Jameirica Sims and Cam'ren Johnson; his mother, Lizzie Robinson; his father, Ronald Crosby; stepfather, John D. Robbinson; six sisters, Jada M. Robinson, T'Kyra K. Robinson, Britni Bellamy, Ariel Crosby, Tiana Crosby, Tiana Crosby; two step brothers, Brandon Lord and Kendal Sibley; four uncles, Alvin, James Curtis, and Reginald Crosby, Wayne (Jackie) Dillon; five aunts, Erma Jones (Mitchell Crosby), Earline Jones (Marlon Bailey) and Jannie Dillon; a devoted special friend, Sade Sims; a God brother, Rashard Bickham; a God sister, Tasha Flores; six God children, A'miracal Dykes, Breille Dykes, Zyrion Tate, Quennel Lewis, Zay'dyn Tate, and Jaxtyn Magee; his close friends, Charlie Lester, Deandre Lawson, Tony Dykes, Antionio Dykes, Myran Robinson, Terry Bickham, Kendrick Anthony, Leo Tate, Rashard Bickham, Kendrick Anthony, Hakeem Tate, John Magee II, Ashnia Anders, and Lyntrell Dixson; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. There will be a drive through viewing on Friday, October 3, 2025 from 4:00PM – 6:00PM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 11:00AM at Light House Pentecostal Church with Rev. Norman Robinson - Pastor Officiating, Rev. John Robinson - Eulogist.
