Robert Edward Simoneaux

Robert Edward Simoneaux, 54, of Missouri City, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2025. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on April 19, 1971, Robert was a man truly cherished for his easy-going nature, his caring heart, and an unwavering, profound love for his family. He was known for his great sense of humor, always ready with a joke to bring a smile to anyone's face, and a remarkable ability to listen and offer help to anyone who needed it. His presence brought comfort and laughter to those around him. Robert's love for sports ran deep, as he was a passionate fan of both the New Orleans Saints and the Boston Red Sox. But his interests didn't stop there-he also found great joy and connection in the worlds of science fiction and gaming. A loyal fan of Star Wars and Star Trek, Robert's enthusiasm for these fandoms reflected his boundless imagination and curiosity. Above all else, Robert's greatest devotion was to his children, Nathan Robert Simoneaux and Megan Samantha Simoneaux. He cherished every moment with them, and his love for them was immeasurable, a guiding force in his life. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Mikele Gurry Simoneaux, his two devoted children, Nathan and Megan, and his mother, Jacqueline Kilduff Simoneaux. He also leaves behind his siblings, Michele Garon and Jerry Simoneaux. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Edward Simoneaux. Robert's kindness, humor, and unwavering spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. A graveside service will be held in Amite, Louisiana, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at The Bankston Cemetery, 16044 Jeff Bankston Road, Amite, LA 70422, with a reception to follow in Kenner, Louisiana.
