William Brady Obituary

William C. Brady, 77, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, surrounded by the love of his family. William was a devoted husband to his wife, Linda Brady, a proud father to Todd Brady and Kimberly Brady, and a beloved father-in-law to Maria Brady and David Taylor. He was "Papa" to his cherished grandchildren, Victoria Callegan and Christopher Brady, whom he adored deeply. Throughout his life, William faced both great joys and challenges. He will forever be remembered for the unique and joyful ways he touched the lives of those around him. He was the owner of "too many blue jean jackets," a proud "girl dad," the best shopping buddy, the most thoughtful gift-giver, and the most loving papa his grandkids could ever ask for. William was also known for his love of Christmas shopping-he truly made the season magical for everyone around him, and it was often said that he literally knew Santa himself. His joy in giving, celebrating, and making memories made the holidays shine brighter for all who shared them with him. He loved life's simple pleasures: browsing antiques, strolling through craft shows, catching a movie, or sitting down for a good lunch with family or his best friend, Ray, in Piccadilly. His presence brought comfort and laughter, and his legacy is one of love, generosity, and an unmatched ability to make ordinary days feel extraordinary. What a good man he was. He will be missed beyond measure but carried forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Memorial service arrangements will be announced by the family.
