Alma Williams Ervin was born July 12, 1964, in Anniston, Alabama to the late George and Catherine Underwood Williams. At an early age, Alma accepted Christ as her Lord and personal Savior where she united with Sweet Rock Baptist Church in Oxford, AL. Later in life she continued being a faithful servant of the Lord and united with Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the culinary committee, the Women's choir and Women's Ministry. She was united in the bonds of holy matrimony to the late Ray Anthony Ervin on June 4, 1988. They were blessed with a daughter, Chaulsie Latrice Ervin. Alma was educated in the Talladega County School system where she graduated from Munford High School in Munford, AL. She continued her education at New World College in Anniston, AL. In 2010, Alma started her career as a Child Nutrition Program worker within the Anniston City School System and advanced to Child Nutrition Program Manager. On February 4, 2022, Alma answered the Master's call and peacefully transitioned to be with the Lord while in the comfort of her home in Jacksonville, Alabama surrounded by loved ones.
