Anthony Dial, Sr.

Funeral service for Anthony W. Dial, Sr. 70, will be Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 2:30 pm at the Sweet Rock Pure Holiness Church of America, 2770 Gunnells Lane, Oxford, 36203 with Minister Fred Young, Jr, Pastor, officiating and Minister Alan Dial, eulogist. Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery. Mr. Dial passed away on September 15, 2025 at Regional Medical Center. Mr. Dial's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to his service. Mr. Dial's professional journey was remarkable and inspiring. He first earned his certification as a Master Electrician from Ayers, then went on to complete his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Jacksonville State University. During his time at Jacksonville, he joined Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and proudly served in ROTC. Continuing his pursuit of excellence, Anthony later fulfilled his lifelong dream of becoming a lawyer by earning his Juris Doctor degree from Howard University. He was a member of the State Bar of Georgia and other legal organizations, excelling as both a master electrician by trade and a lawyer by profession. Survivors include his loving mother: Helen Dial Green; his former wife and cherished friend: Linda Dial; their children: Michael Dial and Celeste Dial; his grandchildren: Sakeara Ferrell, Layla Grizzard, Anthony Dial III, and Jeremiah Dial; his siblings: Ardie Dial, Andrea (Anthony) Scher, Arthur Dial, Jr., Robert Dial, Aleize Sampson, Alphonso (Jeanine) Dial, and Alan (Lisa) Dial; his uncle: Mark Miles; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur L. Dial, and his beloved son, Anthony W. Dial, Jr.
