Barbara Ingram Skinner

A funeral service for Mrs. Barbara Ingram Skinner, 74 of Anniston, will be on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 11:00 am in the Toby Miller Chapel at Miller Funeral Home. A burial will follow the service at Harmony Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on the same day from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Mrs. Skinner passed away on November 16, 2021. She is survived by her husband, Leotes Skinner; children, Steve Ingram (Jada), Joey Ingram, Tim Skinner (Brenda), Karen Henderson (Tim); grandchildren, Cole Ingram, Bailey Ingram, Paige Owens, Canaan Howle, Ethan Howle, Michael Skinner, Cynthia Curtis, Jake Montgomery, Heather Ralston, Chandler Henderson; several great grandchildren; siblings, Danny Turner, Rose Dempsey, Sue Skinner, Mary Willingham, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members, including Reyna DeLeon, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Rhodie Turner. She was 1 of 13 siblings. Pallbearers will be Landan Turner, Shane Dempsey, Kenny Turner, Terry Willingham, Jerry Turner, and Brandon Skinner. Mrs. Skinner enjoyed gardening and flowers. She lived on a farm and enjoyed every minute of it. Mrs. Skinner put everyone before herself. She was always helping others in anyway that they needed it. She was her family's rock and loved spending anytime she could with them. Her family always came first. To know Mrs. Skinner was to love her. She never met a stranger. Her grandchildren named her 'Ding' and she lovingly became a Ding to those who loved her the most. Mrs. Skinner was a loving and caring wife, mother, Ding, sister and friend and will be greatly missed by all those who love her.
