Brian Isbell Obituary

A Celebration of Life service for Mr. Brian Isbell, 48, will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Word Alive International Outreach with Kent Mattox officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 until service time at the church. Brian passed away on September 5, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Sondra Watkins Isbell; sons, Jerrod and Nicolas Isbell; parents, David and Wynelle Isbell; brother, Brent Isbell; mother and father in-law, Curt and Paula Watkins; brother-in-law, Paul and Tami Watkins; grandmother, Arlee Johnson; two nephews and a host of extended family members and friends. Pallbearers will be Clint Murphy, Nick Preston, Chris Allen, Darren Gibson, Dee Borders, Josh Van Wycke, Caleb Mattox, Shan Pearson, Paul Watkins and Craig Mattox. Brian was an extremely fun loving and talented man. He was a drummer, sound engineer and a golfer, just to name a few. His greatest talent was being a loving and caring husband and father. He taught his children anything he could, including being a follower of Christ. He was very active and also a founding member of Word Alive International Outreach. Brian will be remembered for his patience, his love of Christ and for the love he had for his family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Friends of Brian Isbell Legacy Fund, which will be used for his children.
