Charles Akles Obituary

Services for Mr. Charles Akles, 65, of Heflin will be Thursday, March 11, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Cannan Baptist Church in Heflin with Pastor Wallace Cooley officiating. Burial will be in the Chulafinnee Cemetery with Anniston Funeral Services in charge. The body will be at the church one hour prior to services. The family will receive friends from 6-8 tonight at the funeral home. Mr. Akles died on March 5, 2010 at Noland Hospital. Survivors include one sister, Bessie Cooley, of Heflin; three brothers, Willie Lee Akles, Jordan (Annie) Akles, all of Anniston and Newman (Peggy) Akles, of Heflin, and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Akles was a Heflin native and was a faithful member of the Canaan Baptist Church. He retired from Tyson Foods after 25 years of service.
