Charles William "Bo" Bedford

Funeral service for Charles William "Bo" Bedford, age 79, of Oxford, AL will be Sunday, December 27, 2020, 2:00 PM in the chapel of Anniston Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris Spurlin, Rev. David Ray, Rev. Eric Snider, Brandon Bedford and Jason Bedford will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Oxford Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12:00 until service time at the funeral home.
Mr. Bedford went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 24, 2020 at his residence.
Survivors include his Peggy Sue Bedford wife of 53 years, sons; Brandon Bedford (Susan), Jason Bedford (Maliea), granddaughter, Julie Bedford Corkren (Cole), Tanner Bedford, Tucker Bedford, sisters, Dorothy Bentley, Diane Wilkerson Clevenger (Willie), Priscilla Studdard, special friend like a brother, Morris Ray (Barbara), several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Tanner Bedford, Tucker Bedford, Darneal Bedford, Dale Bedford, Darrell Bedford, Jim Denton, Chris Denton, Gary Horne, Randy Studdard and Alabama Secretary of state John Merrill.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Davisson Edmond, Mike Denton, Wade Davis, Wayne Davis, Wally Wilkerson, Bobby Horne and Gary Sparks.
Mr. Bedford was a graduate of Anniston High School, attended Auburn University. Mr. Bedford taught at Ayers State Technical College and Gadsden State Community College for many years. Mr. Bedford was Co Owner of Bedford Wood Works. Mr. Bedford served as a Deacon at Sonrise Baptist Church for many years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Odis Bedford, mother, Lella Mae Kirk Bedford, brothers; Danny Bedford, Clark Bedford and a sister, Margie Davis.
