Funeral services for Charlie Frank "Sweet C" Heard 74, will be Saturday, August 30 2025, at 3 pm at the Anniston Funeral Service Russell H. Williams Memorial Chapel with Bishop Andre Collins, officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Church Cemetery. He passed away on August 24, 2025 at Talladega Health and Rehab. Visitation will be on Friday 1 pm until 6 pm. Mr. Heard attended Bay County Public School. Mr. Heard worked in Healthcare as a Chef. Survivors include brothers: Willie Louis Heard, Willette Heard, Timothy (Sharon) Heard; sisters: Minnie Thornton, Edna (Grover) Guilford, Debra Smith, Betty and Bobby Heard, Gary Embry, Dana Williams, Lovell and Mark Orr; in-laws: Robert Smith and Earlie Reed; special niece: Keila; a host nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Nelsie Mae Embry Heard, his siblings, Johnny Reed, Mattie Carmichael, Evelyn Smith, Howard Heard Jr., Eugene Heard, Maxine Carmichael and Brenda Collins.
