Eleanor Cater Johnson

Memorial service for Eleanor Cater Johnson, 70, will be today at 2 p.m. at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Johnny Johnson; her children, Barry Johnson (Selina) and Shane Johnson (Lorri); grandchildren, Kyle Johnson (Alexis), Kaci Barker (Ryan), Leah Johnson, Seth Johnson and Aaron Johnson; great-grandchildren, Brynlee Kate Johnson and Brayden Wells, and siblings, Eddie Cater (Marsha), Martha Franklin (James), Judy Hayden (Johnny) and Rebecca Wheeler (John). She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawerence and Betty Cater and grandson, Matthew Shane Johnson. Mrs. Johnson was a native of Calhoun County and a member of First Baptist Church of Saks. Eleanor was the BEST wife, mother and Gaga. She loved her family dearly and lived everyday for them. Her family loved her and loved spending time with her. She brought joy to everyone she met.
