Fannie Hanson Terry Johnson

Piedmont - Services for Fannie Hanson Terry Johnson, 86, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 - 8 p.m. Ms. Johnson died Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. Survivors include three daughters, Martha Terry, Jane McDaniel (L.M.) and Tereasa Ann Terry; special daughters, Gloria Hanson, Teresa Hunt and Patti Law; grandchildren, Beth Terry, Greg Terry, Frankie Maddox, Jackie Corbett, Jamie Jackson, Ricky Jackson, Tim Jackson, Tashia Blackerby, Anji Hall, Anette Gowens, Tim McDaniel and Josh McDaniel.; sixteen great- grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and many other adopted children and grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Brandon Terry, Dylan Terry, Tim McDaniel, Craig Jackson, Kaz Jackson, Anthony Jackson, Terry Proctor and A. J. Poole. Ms. Johnson was a lifelong resident of Piedmont and was a member of Emanuel Holiness Church. She was a former employee of Lawtex and retired from Bostrom Seating. She was preceded in death by a husband, Emmitte Terry; two sons, Franklin and A. J. Terry; and her parents, Jess and Lela Hanson.
