Fay Christian Lewis Obituary

Glencoe - Graveside services for Fay Christian Lewis, 79, were Monday at Maple Grove Cemetery with Dr. Mike Holcomb officiating and Anniston Memorial Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Lewis died Saturday at her home. Survivors include her daughters, Robin Young (Joe) and LaJean Turner (Ronnie); grandsons, Heath Turner (Heather), Chad Turner (Amberly), Justin Turner (Kristy) and Wesley Young (Amy); great-grandchildren, Peyton Turner, Kylie Turner, Landon Turner and Brantley Christian Turner. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lewis; her mother, Helena Christian; her father, James Christian and her brother, Bobby Christian. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Turner, Joe Young, Heath Turner, Chad Turner, Justin Turner, Peyton Turner and Wesley Young. Mrs. Lewis was born in West Virginia and has been a longtime resident of the Oak Grove Community. Robin and LaJean had an awesome mother and she was loving and caring with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all of her family. We loved her and will miss her until we see her in heaven. The family wished to thank her wonderful caregiver, Laura Bell. We will love her forever. We also wish to thank AlaCare Hospice and Home Health Care of Gadsden for their loving care. Robin and LaJean, Aunt Faye will be with us always, she was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. She has her angel wings now and is with the rest of those we all love.
