Franklin Anderson Obituary

Grant - Franklin Anderson, a retired insurance agent, died October 14, 2012, at his home in the Humpton Community near Grant, Alabama. He was 78 years old. He was born in Humpton to Biddie and P.A. Anderson. He worked for the American General Insurance Company for 31 years and was a member of the Center Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Rosa Anderson; son, Dale Anderson and his wife, Beth; granddaughter, Leah Miller (Dee); grandson, Jacob Anderson (Erika); great-granddaughter, Linley Miller; sisters, Virginia Eldridge, Olene Childers (Carlton), Sue Mikul, Carolyn Speer, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Franklin loved children, the outdoors, cats and his motorcycle. His funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at Grant Memorial Chapel, Grant, Alabama. Brother Rickey Hamilton and Sammy O'dell officiating with burial following in Humpton Cemetery. Visitation will be this evening, October 16, from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
