J. T. Ellison Obituary

Funeral service for J.T. "Jack" Ellison will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Aaron Dodson officiating. Burial will follow at Coldwater Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Ellison passed away Sunday in Anniston. Survivors include his wife, Rosaleen "Rose" Ellison; daughters, Vicky LeClaire, Renee Johnston; son, Billy Joe Ellison (Janis); sister, LaMurel Wilkerson; grandchildren, Susan Elaine LeClaire, Steven Burdette Ellison, Gary Ellison LeClaire, Kristin Elaine Ellison, Elisha Nicole Haynes, John Paul Smith; great-grandchildren, Dakota Canton Ellison, Dylan Patrick Smith, Abigail Nicole Updyke, Katherine Rose Updyke, Matilda Grace LeClaire, Frederick Robert LeClaire, Jackson Thoreau Smith, Jericho Ryan Smith; numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Ellison is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Bertha Ellison; wife, Helen Smith; daughter, Judy Elaine Rauschenberger; son-in-law, Fred LeClaire; grandson, Dylan Cole Smith; siblings, Billy and Jewell Evelyn Ellison, Mildred Hammett, Edna Dikeman, Betty Reid, John Ellison and Katherine Morgan. Pallbearers will be Steven Ellison, Dakota Ellison, John Smith, Gary LeClaire, Kristin Ellison and Mike Reid. Honorary pallbearer is Susan LeClaire. Jack served in WWII as a Marine in the South Pacific. He was a pulp mill supervisor throughout the U.S. and Canada. Online Condolences at www.graybrownservice.com
