Kenneth "Kenny" Lamar Kilgore II

Funeral services for Kenneth "Kenny" Lamar Kilgore II, 43, will be on today at 3 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. The officiator will be Pastor Kent Mattox from Word Alive International Outreach Church. Immediately following services the burial will be at Hebron Cemetery in Ohatchee. Survivors include his daughter, Rhian Kilgore; son, Gabriel Kilgore; mother, Rosemary Dunaway Brown (Keith); father, Kenneth Kilgore Sr.; sister, Misty Kilgore; stepsister, Jessica Brown Brewer (Jordan); stepbrother, Joshua Brown (Shirley); wife, Christy Florey and grandmother, Doris Jennings. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Buck Dunaway and grandmother, Hester Dunaway. Kenny passed away at Regional Medical Center Thursday, October 24, 2013. Pallbearers will be Rick Johnson Jr., Lee Davenport, Josh Brown, Jonathan Dunaway, Jeremy Turner and Patrick Nelson. Kenny worked as an Engineer at Burlington Railroad in Birmingham for 17 years and went to school at Ohatchee High School. He was greatly loved by his family and will be missed very much.
