Larry Macon Moore Sr Obituary

Ohatchee - Graveside service for Larry Macon Moore Sr., 60, will be Friday, March 8, 2013, at 12:30 p.m. at Bethel United Methodist Cemetery with the Rev. Dwayne Sams officiating. The family will receive friends at K.L. Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Jacksonville Friday from 10:00-11:30 a.m. Mr. Moore died Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Riverview RMC in Gadsden. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Chandra Moore; three sons, Macon (Tanya) Moore, Kyle (Darcy) Moore, and Wade (Jessica) Moore; two sisters, Belinda Murphy and Kathy Moore; four brothers, Jerry (Faye) Moore, Gary (Charity) Moore, Stephen Moore, and Thomas (Starla) Moore; six grandchildren, Toby, Adam, Trey, Haley, Keelyn, and Chelsea Moore; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Larry was a loving husband, Daddy and Paw-Paw. He loved hunting and never met a stranger. Pallbearers will be Rick Jones, Nickey Jenkins, Alton Smith, Johnny Sams, Dewey Sams and Scotty Coppett. There are too many honorary pallbearers to list as Larry had a slew of lifelong friends (you know who you are). The family would like to thank the 3rd floor and ICU nurses at Riverview RMC for the quality of care given. Also, a special thank you to ICU RN Kelly, Dr. Hakim and Dr. L. Newman II and Dr. L. Newman III. He was preceded in death by a daughter, "Candy" Moore; a granddaughter, Sara Moore; and his parents, W.M. and Laura Bell Moore. Larry will be missed but never forgotten!! It will always ring in our ears him saying "ALREADY"!! Those who have been around him alot in the last few years will know what I am talking about.
