Myra Hannah Obituary

Funeral services for Mrs. Myra Dean "Deanie" Gunnells Hannah, 83, of Weaver, will be Wednesday, February 26th, 2025, 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of Gray Brown-Service Mortuary, with Pastor Phil Winningham officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. The family would like to welcome friends for visitation, one hour prior to service time. Mrs. Hannah passed away on February 24th, 2025. She is survived by her children, Jeran Griffin (Glenn), Jerry Hannah (Kendra), Danielle Paris (Barry); grandchildren, Ryan Foster (Jessica), Cameron Joiner (Amanda), Justin Hannah, William Hannah, Raven Paris, Abbie Hannah (Bailey), including a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hannah is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Hannah; parents, George and Gladys Gunnells; sister Patsy Lowery. Those serving as pallbearers will be, Jim Gunnells, Bobby Hollaway, Barry Paris, Ryan Foster, Cameron Joiner, and Justin Hannah. Deanie attended Leatherwood Baptist Church and was a lifelong resident of Anniston and Weaver. She absolutely loved vacationing, playing Mexican Train Dominoes, and having family and friends over to her pool. She was known as Mama Dean to everyone, and she had many "adopted children" she loved. She was a very loving mother and grandmother who will be missed deeply.
