Rev. PQ English was radiant beacon of light. He was our family and my pastor for many years, at Greater Thankful Baptist Church. He Baptized me to become immersed within a new life to professing faith in Jesus. Rev. English was a true man of "God "and he served well. You will truly be missed!

Rev. English made me feel like I was home from the very first time we met. Each and every time I saw him he always had a smile on his face. He has left a huge legacy in our community that no shoes can ever be filled. Rest in Heaven Rev. English. We will meet again in the near future.

Pastor English was a phenomenal man of God as a young person I admired his work with the community and the churches in Anniston, that smile was a breath of sunshine. My sincere condolences to the English family. I go back a long way with the Reverend. My grandmother, Mrs. Aline Jackson, was a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church, Oxford Alabama. He knew that whole side of my family. My Uncles, Wilton, Leonard and Larry Jackson. My mother Patricia (Rose) Barbra, Jean and Sarah. I remember hearing him preach as a kid. Great memories of Sunday dinners at the house with his family. A good man that will be remembered by many. Prayers for peace and comfort for his family, Amen.
