Sgt. Randall Hobson Harper

Retired Tech/Sgt. Randall Hobson Harper passed away on Saturday November 26, 2016, at home, surrounded by his loving family. Sargent Harper was a graduate of Oak Park High School in Kansas City, Missouri. He went on to enlist in the Air Force where he spent his next twenty years proudly serving his country. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and teaching his children the same. He was a loving husband and devoted father. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rita Joan Harper. He is survived by his wife, Julie Harper; sons, James and Michael Harper, and daughter, Susanna Simmons; three grandchildren, Kaiden, Camron and Trinity; two brothers, Donald and Tom Harper, and father, Lewis Harper. The family will receive friends Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016, at 12 p.m., at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home, Bessemer. Graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. at Moore cemetery.
