Thomas R. Bradley Obituary

Oxford - Funeral services for Thomas R. Bradley, 85, of Oxford, will be Saturday, February 9, 2013, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home. Bro. Jackie Williams will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Forestlawn Gardens with full military honors. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Bradley passed away at his residence on Tuesday. Survivors include his wife, Sarah "Gano" Bradley; son, Thomas M. Bradley (Dana); daughter, Samantha Harris (Glenn); grandchildren, Robi Vio, Brittney Edwards, Jonathan Hathaway (April), Taylor Grubb, Chance Harris, also several adopted grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Trenton Conway, Emma Hathaway, Jaxon Ledbetter, Drake "Chuck" Ledbetter, Jett Ledbetter; brother, Roy Bradley (Margaret); several nieces and nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be Sam "Keith" Morgan, Justin Watkins, Taylor Grubb, Jonathan Hathaway, Wesley Campbell, and Johnny Ray Deese. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Chase Harris and a brother, J.C. Bradley. Mr. Bradley was a retired Staff Sargent from the U.S. Army with 24 years of service. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II. Mr. Bradley was also known by many as the preaching truck driver. Mrs. Bradley was a member of the former Blue Springs Baptist Church. Mr. Bradley loved his family very dearly and will be greatly missed. Miller Funeral Home

My husband Justin and I love papa very much, and we are so sad to lose him. He was the best grandpa anyone can ask for and a wonderful christian man. He's in heaven now and we'll see him again someday.

Tom will be missed by many. I am glad to say I had the honor of knowing him most of my life. To the family, he was in pain for so long after the accident, but he is now in the land of no more pains or troubles. Fair winds and following seas Tom!!!!

So sorry to hear of the passing of your husband and daddy. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I pray that God will wrap his arms around you during the coming days.
