Mrs. Martha Eddins Ratliff, 65, entered into rest on Sunday, July 9, 2017.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 13 at Pine Grove Baptist Church by Pastor Mark Phillips and Phillip Caulder Jr., with burial to follow in the Anson Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. prior to the service in the sanctuary of the church.
Mrs. Ratliff was born June 10, 1952 in Chesterfield, S.C. a daughter of the late Edgar L. and Emma Campbell Eddins. She was employed with Autumn Care of Marshville as a C.N.A. Martha was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church of Chesterfield and enjoyed worshipping at Lilesville Baptist Church. She enjoyed watching old movies and listening to southern gospel music. Her favorite pastimes were spending time traveling with friends and shopping.
In addition to her parents, Martha was also preceded in death by her husband, Larry Ratliff. Survivors include her sister, Sonia (William) Adams of Ruby, S.C.; niece, Amy (Russ) Carter of Chesterfield, S.C.; and great-nieces, Rebecca (James) Wood of Lexington, S.C. and Kristin Carter of Greenville, S.C.
Memorials may be made to Pine Grove Baptist Church "Cemetery Fund", 293 Zoar Road, Chesterfield, SC 29709.
