It was an honor to have known Buddy. We met while working at Metropolitan Life. He was a pretty good golfer. Great all around guy which is hard to come by these days. Rest in peace.

My deepest sympathy to Pattie and her family. My dad was a friend of Buddy's in Matawan. He spoke very highly of him. I am happy to say that I am a friend of his wonderful daughter. I will keep you in my prayers. God bless.

Buddy was also publisher of the now defunct Middletown Courier where I worked as a reporter for many years. I got to know Buddy and respected him highly. He helped me in many ways at the newspaper at a time when I needed him. His service in World War II was courageous. He was a tremendous man who did a lot of good things in his life. He will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace, Buddy.

The very fabric of our country becomes more fragile when we lose a man of his caliber. "Buddy" Allen knew, lived, and practiced 'principles', now, almost foreign, in today's way of life. A giant, gentleman! WWII survivor of WWII Battle of the Bulge, the largest land battle ever fought in the history of the United States Army. Thank you for your service, "Buddy" and, Thank you for my freedom. Rest in peace!
