Another year Dr Hirsch we still remember you always and Rhoda too. We are on our last kitty. Every vet visit your legacy is brought up and it was about a year ago I started discarding vet receipts from the last 15 years. I came across 3. Marlboro Animal Hospital one that you filled out. Your quaint beautiful practice where you ran it all. I witnessed a beautiful outcome where a client walked in with his adult cat of 5 years old. He wanted this precious kitty put to sleep because his wife was expecting their first baby in a few months. He said he worried the baby would be smothered in it's crib by the cat or suffocated if the cat tried to drink milk from the mouth of the baby. You explained old wives tales but he was insistent and said he would go elsewhere. So right there he filled out consent and I was shaking. After he left I asked you, your not going to euthanized this kitty. With your huge smile said oh gosh no. He adopted this cat as a kitten from US. Hes now our office mascot. Every check up I got to greet this beautiful kitty. He lived a long time under the watchful eye of Dr Hirsch and Rhoda. That's who Dr Hirsch was. Gosh I miss him.
And to his family and sister Barbara my heartfelt thoughts are always with you all.

As I sit and remember one of the kindest souls ever to walk this earth, I remember you. Our family has one beautiful kitty left. You would of given him your best care ever. Today small veterinarian practices are few and far between. Larger corporations have taken over. Each time a new vet sees our boy. It's exhausting. When we could speak to your beautiful wife, she would ask. Who is it now? And name our pets.
This art is gone. I will forever miss your smile, generosity and pure heart and spirit. Until we meet again. Remain in peace with your beloved.

Sincere thanks go out to you, Barb, for remembering my beloved brother so nicely. I mourn his loss every single day, he is never out of my thoughts. He was a rare and beautiful soul, just as our late mother was. I am proud to say that he was my big brother, I truly thought the world of him, and it's lovely to see that others feel the same way about him. I communicate with his son, John and his family, and I also love them dearly. I am so glad to see that Albert's, "Alby", (my childhood nickname for him), legacy lives on and will forever be in the hearts of family and friends. Thank you so much for caring!

To his sister Barbara. I come back and read all of Dr. Hirsch heart warming and loving testimonials from a man that was larger then life. I adored your brother. I pass his old animal hospital close my eyes and can see him coming into the waiting room, mop in hand to make sure the place sparkled. His smile lit a room and calmed all our fears.
I too am happy he is not here to see this world. And I too await
to be reunited with in his presence.

Dear big brother Alby: As of a few days now, April 16th, the fourth year of your passing will be here. I have never stopped missing or loving you. I am, in a way, glad that you are not here to have witnessed the Covid pandemic, all the civil unrest of our times, and the entire world turned upside down. I know you would never understand how the world has changed into the sad state it is now, and neither do I, now at age 77. I miss you and think of you everyday of my life, and I am close to your son John and family. I am happy to see so many people still think of you, and miss you. You were a beautiful soul. My comfort comes from the fact that you are with God, in His heavenly paradise, and together with our beloved mama and your father. Rest in peace, dear brother. You will NEVER be forgotten, and we will surely meet again someday. I love you. Your "little" sister, Barbara

Can’t believe it’s been five years already. Still find myself saying Dr. Hirsch said...... like it was yesterday. Still use everything he taught me with our present pets. No one will ever take his place he was one of a kind. As for Mrs Hirsch what can I say except she was such a lady.

My beloved big brother, Alby:

Three years have now passed, since you went to Heaven. I continue daily to think of you and miss you terribly, but I know you are happy being with mommy and your daddy, and all our other relatives, who have also gone to their eternal reward.

I will NEVER forget you, and I am SO VERY HAPPY to know that I made your last years so enjoyable. I loved shopping and cooking for you, in the delicious Hungarian-Jewish style cuisine that we so loved when mommy cooked for all of us.

I am 75 years young now, and hope that when my time comes, I will be able to be with you once again, this time forever. I love you and always will. Rest in peace, dear brother.

Lovingly and tearfully from your "little sister," Barbara.

Dear big brother Alby:

I continue to miss you every single day, but I know you are happy in Heaven with all our loved ones. You were my shining light, and I loved you with all my heart. I'm so glad I could be there for you in your final years of life, bringing you all the "goodies" that you cherished. I only wish that it were still possible to continue our visits filled with love, joy, good humor, and reminiscence of our days of youth among beloved family members and friends. Rest in Heavenly peace, dear brother. I know you send your prayers and blessings to us all. Sent with love from your sister Barbara. You will forever remain in my heart until we meet again.

Dr. Hirsch,
I will always remember and cherish you. I just found out that you have passed. Now I understand why I didn't get my December phone call. Thank you so much for all that you have done for my family and our pets throughout the years. 1968 was our first year! Charlie, Fluffy, puppies, Sam, JR, Max, Buddy, and now Josh. And also thank you for Dr. Kelly O'Conner! She was the only one you welcomed into your practice and I completely understand why. Please rest in peace, you deserve it.

Dear brother Alby:
It's almost a year now since you left us.....I continue to miss you with each and every passing day. However, sweet memories of you sustain me, knowing you are happy in Heaven with all our loved ones. I will forever treasure each moment I was able to spend with you, and I am so happy that we were able to reconnect after so many years had passed. I love your son John and his family, and each time I see them, I am happy to know they are close relatives that I will forever hold dear.
When I was a little girl, you were my idol. Now that I am also approaching my elder years, you still are and always will remain the beloved big brother that I will never forget. I love you forever, until we meet again.

Your sister.

Seeing the sad news about Dr Hirsch passing tugged at my heartstrings. Our family goes way back to 1970s when Dr Hirsch started caring for our furkids. His smile jokes and deep heart is what I will remember most. And I will remember Mrs
Hirsch kind heart as well.
Thank You always for your service.
