Andrea Christine Raffetto, 64, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2016, with her family at her side. Andrea was a lifelong resident of Spring Lake. She graduated from H.W. Mountz Elementary School. She spent her high school years at Star of the Sea Academy, Long Branch, and graduated from Manasquan High School, before earning her degree at Virginia Intermont College. She enjoyed a successful career in banking management before retiring several years ago, after which she began working as an office manager at Christine Keating Realty. At that time, Andrea decided to give back to her community by becoming an Emergency Medical Technician and serving with the Spring Lake First Aid Squad, where she was also the Treasurer. She was a member and past Treasurer of the Spring Lake Historical Society. Andrea lived her faith by unselfishly doing for others. Those who knew her said she was the sweetest and nicest person they had ever met. But above all, she was devoted to her family, to whom she was a loving and fun sister, aunt and great-aunt.

Andrea was predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Helen (Casagrande) Raffetto, as well as by her niece, Susan Raffetto. She is survived by her siblings and their spouses, Thomas and Ellen Raffetto, of Yorktown, Va., Jeanne and Dennis Cameli, of Spring Lake, Elizabeth Raffetto, of Spring Lake, her twin sister Barbara and her husband Ron Tamburri, of Woodbury, Ct., and Rosemary and Mark McKinnon, of DeLand, Fl. Her nephews and nieces, Jenifer, Joshua, Anthony and Emily Cameli, Stephen and Nicole Cameli, John and Stephanie Raffetto, Peter Raffetto, Lisa and Scott Led Duke, R.J. and Leanne Tamburri, and A.J. McKinnon, also survive, as well as 8 great-nieces, 2 great-nephews, aunts and cousins.

Visitation will take place at O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy. 35, Wall, on Thursday, March 17, 2016, from 4-8 P.M. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Catharine Church, Spring Lake, on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 10:30 AM, followed by entombment in St. Catharine Cemetery.
