AGE: 86 • Point Pleasant
Angelo Guadagnino, age 86 of Point Pleasant, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. He was born in Jersey City, lived in Newark, Irvington, and Kenilworth before moving to Point Pleasant in 1990. Angelo served in the United States Army. He was a parishioner at St. Martha's Church in Point Pleasant. He enjoyed playing pool, fishing and bowling. He was also an avid Mets fan. He was preceded in death by his siblings Frank and Mildred Guadagnino, his late brothers-in-law Daniel Jakositz and Steve Budner, his sister-in-law Adele Jakositz and nephew Stephen Budner. Surviving are his wife of 61 years Mary C. Guadagnino (nee Jakositz) of Point Pleasant, his brother-in-law Frank Jakositz of Georgia, sisters-in-law; Elizabeth Budner of Freehold, Shirley Jakositz of Edison, Leocadia Guadagnino of Point Pleasant; his nieces Frances Geroni of Point Pleasant, Linda Tuorto of Point Pleasant, his nephew Michael Guadagnino of Toms River, and three great nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends for a viewing on Tuesday September 20, 2016 from 4-8PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Highway 88, Brick, NJ 08724. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Martha's RC Church, Wednesday, 9:30am. Entombment will follow at St. Catharine's Cemetery, Wall.
