Ann Quattro Obituary

Ann "Jean" (neé Dobbins) Quattro

Ann "Jean" (neé Dobbins) Quattro, 89, beloved mother and nana, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, May 26, 2021. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Anna (neé McFadden) Dobbins and a graduate of West Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia.

Jean lived and raised her family in Branchburg, NJ for over fifty years. She worked as an administrative assistant for the Branchburg Board of Education, for 20+ years, retiring in 2000. Jean was a very active lifetime member of the Branchburg Woman's Club where she served on various committees and held many officer positions. She was a former parishioner of Holy Trinity Church in Bradley Gardens, NJ and communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges, NJ. Above all, Jean loved her family and treasured their time spent together. She enjoyed vacationing with her family at the Jersey Shore, on cruises and on road trips. She could always be found at one of her grandchildren's games, concerts and plays. She never missed a birthday, family gathering, graduation or first day of school.

Besides her parents, Jean was predeceased by her beloved husband, Oreste "Chris" Quattro; daughter, Mary Contino; and brother, William Dobbins.

Jean is survived by three loving sons, Paul Quattro (Felicia) of Austin, TX, Michael Quattro (JoAnn) of Morristown, NJ, and John Quattro (Jacquelyn) of Flemington; and son-in-law, Michael Contino of Branchburg. She will be deeply missed by her cherished grandchildren, Zachary, James, Melissa, Natasha, Dylan, Lea, Ryan, Jack, Nicholas and Christopher (Emily).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Tuesday, June 1 from 4 - 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, June 2 from 9:30-10:15 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 2 beginning 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home and followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges with Fr. Thomas J. Serafin, KCHS officiating. Committal words and interment will follow at St Bernard Cemetery in Bridgewater, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jean's name to the Branchburg Woman's Club Philanthropic Fund to benefit charities and scholarships, c/o Linda Mish, 2237 South Branch Road, Neshanic Station, NJ 08853.
