AGE: 92 • Toms River
Anna C. (nee; Trombetta) Balacco, 92, of Toms River, NJ passed away May 24,2017 peacefully at her daughter Angela's home in South Carolina. Angela and her husband Rick, along with family members from Holland, Ann and Kimmy were at her bed side. She was born in Hoboken, and in 1955 moved to Lakewood, with her spouse Dominick, then when he passed on in 1995 she moved to Toms River, with her daughter Vivian and son in law Ron. Anna was a seamstress for Roxanne Swimsuits in Neptune. She retired in 1990 to do childcare for her great-granddaughter Ashley and her cousin's daughter Nicole.
She is predeceased by her parents, Nicole and Angelina Trombetta and her spouse of 49 years, Dominick Balacco, and her four other siblings.
She is survived by her daughter Vivian Leyda (Ronald) of Orlando, Fl., her daughter Angela Meyers (Rick) of Summerville, SC, her granddaughter Dawn Gauff (Marqus) of Orlando, Fl., grandson Dominick Leyda of Castallian Springs, Tn., grandson Ronald Leyda of Orlando, Fl., granddaughter Stefani Weatherford of Summerville, SC, along with great-granddaughters, Ashley Sudol and Jordyn Lamerias and her great-grandsons Preston Weatherford, Marqus Gauff, and Chase Leyda, her dear sister-in-law, Ann Trombetta and her daughter Kimmy from Holland and all her nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she loved dearly.
Visitation will be held at Mastapeter Funeral Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, 08721 on Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 7pm to 9pm and Sunday, May 28, 2017 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 9:30am at St. Barnabas Roman Catholic Church, 33 Woodland Rd., Bayville, 08721. Entombment will follow to Fairview Cemetery, 500 Fairview Ave, Fairview, NJ 07022.
