Mr. Grosso hired me in 1977, a transfer from Bradley Beach. He ran a tight ship. When he was a supervisor everybody worked. Very efficient, knew the job. No matter where there was a problem, whether in-office or on the window he handled it. He knew the regulations but also had compassion for the individual issues. As Postmaster, he left big shoes to fill...a tough act to follow. Job well done. Rest in Peace Mr. Grosso.

The feeling for other people, knowing, interested, helping that is the way I can describe my classmate from Grammar to High. I know the Lord has a special place for him. Let us all reach out to one another in his memory. Marie Corbo

When I started working on the boardwalk at 5th Avenue pavilion in 1956, Sonny was the person I was replacing to work the soda fountain. He showed me how to make all the items; sodas, milk shakes, sundaes, etc. We spent many hours as co-workers that summer and future summers.

Anthony was my friend of many years. We attended Asbury Park High School together and also served on the Class of 55 Reunion Committee.

He was a great man with a friendly smile and a kind word for everyone with whom he came into contact. He will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences to the members of his family.
