Dear Montalto Family:
I lost my oldest son at the age of 18 four years ago. I understand how difficult it is to accept that Anthony is no longer here. My best advice is to encourage everyone who knew Anthony to continue to share stories about him. Ask his Marine buddies to write and send you stories of things he did that were typical of his personality. Time will lessen the pain but there will always be a hole in your heart. As long as you keep talking about Anthony, the memories of his life will keep him alive for the years to come. I am truly sorry for your loss. May he rest In peace.
Respectfully,
Captain Eileen D'Andrea, US Navy
