Aurora Robson Obituary
AGE: 86 • Ocean Grove
Aurora Scholes Robson, 86, of Ocean Grove, died Saturday August 23 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Mrs. Robson was a school librarian and educator at the Gables School in Neptune before retiring. She was a member of the Ocean Grove Ladies Auxiliary and was active in the Ocean Grove Children's Show Costume Department and Hydewood Baptist Church Bible Studies in North Plainfield. She was predeceasd by her husband George Scholes Robson III in 1997 and by her grandson: August Jerome Scholes Robson in 1999. Surviving are her son, George Scholes Robson IV and his wife Sheri of Oakhurst, her daughter, Judy Aurora Hanes of Scituate, MA, her sister, Sophie Colangelo of Hillsborough, four grand-children: Tammie Leigh Garner, George Scholes Robson V, David Scholes Robson and Rebekah Arlene Scholes Robson, and her great-grandchildren: Samuel Courage Garner and Emma Leigh Garner of Norwell, MA. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Ocean Grove on Thursday August 28 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the St. Paul's United Methodist Church "Angel Fund" 80 Embury Avenue, Ocean Grove, NJ 07756 would be appreciated.
