Obituary of Ronald W. Robson

Ronald W. Robson, "Ron," age 90, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully at home on March 7, 2026.

Born in Scranton, PA, Ron was raised in Chester, PA by his parents, William and Rachel Brush Robson. He had been a resident of Newark, DE, for the past three years, and previously lived in The Villages, FL, and Wilmington, DE.

Ron worked for many years as a Production Supervisor for Continental Chemical. He retired in 2000 as the Plant Operations Manager of Stoney Creek Technologies. He enjoyed boating, eating seafood, and watching Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Eagles and Phillies. Ron was also an outstanding softball player who played in many leagues and was widely known as a talented and respected player. In 2007, Ron was inducted into the Delaware County Athletes Hall of Fame.

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his son, Ron Robson II, and his sister, Peggy Hampton.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Judith Robson; his children, Deborah (James) Litwa and Don (Sheila) Robson; his stepchildren, Melody (John) Rauso and Donna (Bill) Dubois; eight grandchildren, Christine, Deena, Jana, Danielle, John-Michael, Scottie, Kyle, and Brandon; and nine great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Ron will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 10:00–11:00 AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA 19060. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM.
