AGE: 85 • Monmouth Beach and Boca Raton
Benjamin J. Mann, Sr., age 85 of Boca Raton, FL, died Sunday, October 6, 2013 at home. Born in Long Branch he resided in Monmouth Beach and Boca Raton. Ben was a self employed building developer of over 60 year before retiring and was a parishioner of the Church of the Precious Blood in Monmouth Beach.
Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Phyllis Addeo Mann; a son, Benjamin Mann, Jr of Middletown; 2 daughters, Karen Kaplan of Ocean Twp. and Maria Mann of Wayside; his brother, Joseph Mangogna of Pt. Pleasant; 7 grandchildren, Tara Picone, Andria Yerves, Brett Picone, Eric Yerves, Brianna Kaplan, Chantall Mann and Benjamin Mann, III; 3 step children, David Carlisle, Debbie Null and Judi Carlisle Flynn and 9 step grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 10 from 7-9 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., (corner of Third Ave.), Long Branch. Funeral Friday, 9 am at the funeral home followed by a 10 am Mass at Precious Blood Church. Entombment will be at Woodbine Mausoleum in Oceanport.
